Mellow Yellow

TOPSHOP top, BCBG Skirt & Sandals

Yellow is a color associated with Summer.
It’s bright, happy and reminds us of the sun (at least for me).
I paired this beautiful trumpet skirt with a denim chambray blouse for a coffee date and loved how it just automatically made me feel happy.

Happy Tuesday!

I have an obsessive personality when it comes to cloth (remember the fringed skirt hunt). I went on a intense search for the perfect pair of Vintage Levis jeans (it all started while watching season 1 & 2 of Friends where I kept seeing Monica & Rachel wearing them).
Fast forward to an endless amount of searching which lead to finding Love Me Twice on Instagram.
She is located in the UK but her service, and advice on fit and finish has been fantastic and resulted in my first pair of vintage jeans being purchased from her.
Here are a few looks for inspiration in the current “it” jeans.

Danier Jacket, UB Jeans, H&M top, Vintage scarf, The Chiq Jewelry, Gifted bag

We are all guilty of a jean “uniform”. The outfit that you always seem to grab. So to break out of the routine, I’m wearing jeans that I can count the times i’ve worn them. Add a few accessories….and now I might have established a new routine!

Jean Skirt

I know lately I have been only posting about summer! My longing for great Weather, no jacket and a fabulous tan are making me have a case of the summer blues. On a different note, A few days ago I posted on instagram this fabulous distressed jean skirt from Acne.
I cant express how much I adore this skirt! Its everything I love… jean, ripped and fitted but not overly body hugging.
Your thoughts on the trend of jean skirts?

Peplum Love

Sample piece top, Joe Fresh skinny boyfriend jeans, ALDO heel, Emidesh jewellery

I recently did a post in which I paired a peplum top with a pair of skinny cigarette jeans. I loved the look, so simple and chic yet fun and flirty. I decided to go opposite with this great find peplum top which I got from work(the perks of working in fashion). I paired the long sleeve peplum top with a recently purchase of boyfriend “skinny” jeans and some heels to pull it together. Again the cut of these peplum tops keeps me wanting more. On a side note: how beautiful are my Emidesh jewelry? I loved how they completed the outfit.
