Brows

I have a makeup routine that is about 10 minutes.

It starts with foundation under my eyes, mineral powder all over my face, eyelash curler, mascara then the most tedious part, eyebrows!

Since I do love the look of a full, defined brow, I spent hours (sadly this is true) on Instagram looking at videos on how to properly fill in a brow. I have realized that I need to part ways with my old method with brow pencils & welcome a well angled brush & brow pomade.
A few months back someone shared that she used MAC gel liner and I have been hooked ever since.
After many failed attempts, I now got the hang of filling in my brows with a defined yet natural look.
I have also found this amazing angled brush that is both affordable (under $3) and works wonders for application.
Would love to know what your favorite brow pomades are?

Beaded

There is always a major shift in my style. I can go months (ok maybe years) not wanting or even liking something and suddenly I am obsessed!

My recent love has been beaded, oversize, and sometimes colorful earnings. Although I have a collection of jewelry, I have found that my collection is all of very dainty earnings and a complete contradiction to what I was in love with 7 to 8 years ago.

I had these over sized flat sterling silver paisley print earrings that I recall wearing on everything. Now fast forward 8 years and I am back to the need for big statement earnings.

I will call it now: beaded statement earnings will be a staple for the S/S16 where it can transition from casual (how chic with cut off shorts & a tee) to a night out!
