Winter Wonderland

Canada Goose Jacket, Sorel boots, H&M dress, Zara cat hat

The holidays are coming to an end and although we are a few short days away from New Years. I had to take advantage of being in beautiful cottage country surrounded by white snow & paired it with the seasons must have red.
Hope you all had a wonderful christmas holidays with your family and loved ones.

I am the first to admit I have an abundant amount of snap pictures of quotes on my phone. It’s either by favourite poets, authors or about coffee I can’t get enough.
So have we become quote dependent? I have quotes to reflect every mood and I notice the trend everywhere.
What are your thoughts on the quote trend and do you ever use it to just let it speak what your feeling?

3 shades of polish

In a rainbow of colours I have selected my top favourite polish shades.
Berry: sexy and playful it pairs well with statement outfits or even a classic LBD.
Red: you can never go wrong with a red polish, it’s fun and confident and looks stunning against statement jewelry.
Nude: a personal favourite I find nude to be chic and fresh I even love it over a french manicure.
I have these three shades on repeat but Nude has to be my current go to shade.

Boot Favourite

I am currently killing it with these boots, I have been pairing them with everything.
They are not in the traditional black shade, in a soft buttery leather and in a colour that is not tan yet still in the family of that shade.
Here are a few looks of what I have been pairing it with.

Metallic Gold

Joe Fresh shift dress & tights, Jeffrey Campbell oxfords, Danier Jacket

A few weekends ago I picked up this houndstooth printed shift dress. The oversized print really was the reason I had to have it (the dress is actually two sizes to big for me but a shift dress is very forgiving).
I paired it with a classic thin striped tights and a pop of colour with metallic gold oxford.
