One of the most common questions I get asked is what foundation I use. So I decide to share my 3 favorite products and why.
To start, get a professional to color match you to make sure the color compliments your skin. Nothing worse than the wrong foundation color!
I have always had dark circles under my eyes so they are my “problem” area on my face.
I start with MAC Pro Longwear Concealer which is a thick liquid foundation that I only apply to the bottom of my eyes. I also add a touch on my cheeks and chin to balance out the tones.
I follow with a loose powder. I have honestly used expensive bands but this MAYBELLINE Mineral Powder gives me the best coverage and doesn’t clog my pores. I hate the feeling of a dry face.
To apply the loose powder I use this Eco Tools brush which is natural hair, washes and dries beautifully. And the best part is its half the cost of “professional” brushes. The loose powder comes with a brush but I find it hard on the face.
So here are my tools to how I get my foundation finish. Lastly, remember to always star with moisturized skin.
Must Try Product: The Mineralize X4 eye shadow compact in Melody of Mauves.
The Mineralize compact has been formulated with 77 minerals that nourish the skin, glide on smooth can be applied wet or dry.
Using a fluffy brush blend the shadow dry for a soft girly look or using a stiffer brush slightly damp for a bold edger look.
Try them out and let us know what you think.

Today kick starts Canadian Fashion Week starting with Toronto. I am so happy that this year I will be attending the entire week and viewing the shows, collections & street styles. Although I recall being in Paris a few years back during Fashion week and the street style was insane, I didn’t attend any shows. However, the parade of beautifully dressed men and women was wonderful to see. I look forward to all the fashions here! Now to finalize my outfits and gear up to attend the shows.

I have been wearing eyeliner since I was 16, so I have some experience on the matter.Although I change how fine or thick I apply it, the product is what makes the liner application simple. Here are a few of my top, and may I add affordable, makeup products.
