Harem Pants

Harem pants from Spain, Moon tank & top, Elie Tahari shoes

I had previously mentioned how I received a pair of Harem pants from my sisters travel to Spain.
I finally got the chance to wear them. I will admit, its a style that I personally love! Maybe it’s my Arabian background (they do represent the arabian sherwal lol) or maybe it’s the fact that they are baggy and super comfortable. I love my harem pants and was surprised at all the great feedback I received. I am not going to lie, men will NOT understand the look but women love them.
One advice I would offer is to keep everything else minimal due to  the pants being a statement on their own so let them take center stage and keeping all other elements of the outfit (shoes, top, accessories) to a minimal.I decided in this post to style 2 harem pants a little different from each other. Would love to know which one you liked more?

Eid

Club Monaco Dress, F21 clutch wallet, ALDO heels

Happy Eid to all my celebrating readers and a sincere apology for how late this post is.
I’ve been MIA the past week but with Eid celebrations & family get together, I have been a social butterfly LOL.
Since I grew up in Canada, I never really get the feel of true Eid besides the family dinner & visiting with friends. I decide to dress up to work and be a little festive.
I wore this 50’s inspired Club Monaco dress that I just love!
Hope you all had a wonderful Eid and would love to know you spend it.
Eid Mubarak. xx

My Week

Peplum Love

Sample piece top, Joe Fresh skinny boyfriend jeans, ALDO heel, Emidesh jewellery

I recently did a post in which I paired a┬ápeplum top with a pair of skinny cigarette jeans. I loved the look, so simple and chic yet fun and flirty. I decided to go opposite with this great find peplum top which I got from work(the perks of working in fashion). I paired the long sleeve peplum top with a recently purchase of boyfriend “skinny” jeans and some heels to pull it together. Again the cut of these peplum tops keeps me wanting more. On a side note: how beautiful are my Emidesh jewelry? I loved how they completed the outfit.

Head Jewelry

A major trend this season was the head piece. Chanel Fall 2012 Paris-Bombay collection perfected the head piece.
I am personally a fan of it when used at the right occasion such as wedding or engagement parties.
Here are a few of my favourite looks of this trend.

My Week

Brushed Polka Dots

H&M printed skinny pant, Costa Blanca top, ALDO heels

I have been on the hunt for printed pants for some time; with that being said I had a few requirements that needed to meet my standards.
I wanted a great fit, good pattern & most of all inexpensive.
And so the scavenger hunt began! I was in H&M this past weekend yet again (sigh) I swear, I am having a love affair with H&M! After my previous buy of the peplum top & skinny jeans, I was transformed to an eternal optimist! lol. With the optimism came success at last! It was with these comfortable pair of pants that H&M is currently carrying. It just had it all! Black and white brushed polka dot print, great fit and most importantly, fantastic price point!
On a side note, I was told by the girls at work that my look of the day channels a sexier 2012 version of the Peggy Bundy look. I had to laugh at this since I grew up watching Married with Children.
